About OSI's Community Forest Fund

OSI’s Community Forest Fund fosters citizen-driven conservation, stops forest fragmentation and links environmental protection with economic benefits for northern New England’s rural communities. Since its inception in 2010, OSI’ Fund has approved grants to help create 14 community forests – from Downeast Maine, to New Hampshire’s White Mountains to Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom – conserving 30,000 acres.
